Summer is the best time of year for fishing, but you need the knowledge of fish habits to help narrow down the best fishing areas by boat and from shore. Open to both experienced and new anglers. Learn the basics of a variety of styles of fishing including rod and reel trolling, bottom fishing, fly fishing, clamming and lobster fishing. Students will also learn about tying knots, baiting hooks, cleaning gear, and practicing fishing safety. Become more aware of local fisheries and fishing impacts. We practice catch and release only. Students should bring their own fishing rods and tackle ready for use. Some NESS rods are available and bait will be provided, please call to inquire. 860-535-9362

Session 7 JC I B ~ Maze Runner - Foothill Horizons
The Maze Runner A boy named Thomas wakes up in a box with no memory of his past, other than his name. When the elevator doors open, he is pulled into a glade and discovers that he now lives at the center of a maze with almost no way to escape. Help Thomas and the others solve the maze and find a way out! 209-532-6673 x110
Elite Camp - University of Nebraska
This camp is designed to be an intense camp for in-going grades 6th-12th who wish to prepare themselves for high school, college or beyond. Fundamental skill development on offense, defense and conditioning principles for all positions on the floor will be stressed. Both individual and team play development will be improved by attending this camp. Many of the same drills and techniques used by Coach Yori and her staff at Nebraska will be taught. Elite Camp begins in the evening of June 1 at 7:00pm. Registration for overnight campers will begin at 5:45pm and Commuter Campers at 6:30pm. The camp runs all day on June 2-3 and concludes at 4:00pm on June 3. If your camper is also registered for Skills Camp on June 1, there will be a dinner break and the Elite Session will begin at 7:00pm. Radical Reptiles & Animals with John Taibe (AGES 5-10) Join John Taibe from Radical Reptiles and Friends as he introduces the children to a unique menagerie of live animals including snakes, frogs, turtles, tortoises, lizards, bugs and other creepy crawlies. As the children explore the animal kingdom, they will have a unique, hands-on experience enhanced by art, games and various projects related to these creatures. Kids will be up and about moving too! The kiddos get John for 2 special hours. Children whove attended this camp in the past should experience new adventures & get to see Johns latest creatures. Children will have a snack time, 2 recesses on the fabulous playground and a lunchtime.
