The PGA Junior Golf Camps Competitive Edge Golfer programs offer serious game improvement for the serious junior golfer. Offered at select locations, the Competitive Edge camps are taught by some of the countrys leading and most successful junior golf instructors, many of whom are former top junior golfers themselves. The camps concentrate on instruction which will take a campers game to the next level, with the emphasis on mental conditioning, course management, and the short game. Returning to Teen Camp - undefined, CA
In the summer of 2014, I did something I never really thought I was called to do: work with TEENS. Being 21 at the time, I still considered myself one. Me? Being paired up with a 14-year old girl? Confronting normal teen issues paired with the difficulty that comes hand in hand while being in the foster system? Definitely a challenge. Not just zip-ling fun and games. (Also, I came home with crutches that year. FROM TRIPPING IN THE CAFETERIA. Hangry?) However, seeing how camp is something these kids/teens look forward to every year and how a weekend in the woods reminds them they are loved and adored is invaluable. Being with older and wiser counselors also inspired me because seeing the way they love unconditionally inspires me to not be selfish with my time and personal ambitions. These kids, this camp. It means something. A safe place with the ability to change lives long term. I'm proud to say that I'm returning to Teen Camp this year and it would be amazing to share the stories from last time with you (when I get a blog post up.) The Solon Recreation Department offers two day camps that run in conjunction with one another. The Summer Camp is for pre-kindergarten to fourth graders (child must be at least 5 years old and no older than 12 on their first day of camp). The Adventure Camp is for current fifth & sixth graders (child must be 12 years old or younger on their first day of camp). Camp consists of sports, swimming, activities, field trips and much, much more. The schedules and activities are age appropriately planned. NFL Alumni Players & Cheerleaders Caring for Kids Campaigns - Jacksonv
The JVC TV Fundraiser program is in coordination with JVC, the NFL Alumni's mission of "Caring for Kids" and the NFL Play 60 Program, a program that promotes the idea of 60 minutes of exercise a day for kids of all ages. The fundraiser consists of two JVC TV’s, an HD 55” and the other an HD 65”. Only 300 tickets will be available exclusively on our web site for $20 each or 3 for $50. Each ticket has the opportunity to win one of the two TVs. Once the 300 tickets are sold no more will be available. It will be a first come, first serve event. The first ticket that is drawn will win the 55” TV, then the second ticket drawn will win the 65” TV. The grand drawing will be held during our 4th Quarter NFL Alumni "Meet & Greet", Nov. 19 6pm to 9pm, scheduled to be located at the BoneFish Grill in Jacksonville Beach. The drawing itself will be scheduled for 8pm.

In Radio Stories, students will create and record a variety of their own radio programs and experience what its like to work at a real radio station.
