This camp is recommended for girls ages 8 through 16 years of age. My 13 year old daughter attended Mountain Top Summer Dance Camp. What she liked about it surprised me. She really enjoyed the camaraderie of other girls who shared her passion for dance. At the end of the camp, the girls all held a talent show, and they performed for the parents. "Don't bother me!" "You're a mistake!" These are the things far too many children hear on a regular basis, and a lot of these children are right here within our Lewis-Clark Valley and the surrounding area. These kids hear these things (and far worse than this) from their guardians, parents, and/or other family members. Many also deal with sexual and physical abuse, come from broken homes, and have been neglected or abandoned. Others still have bounced from place to place all their lives and don't know what it is like to have a family, a home, a safe environment, or even to just be a kid. There are children who have taken on the role of a parent to their sibling(s) at a young age (some as early as 4 or 5 years old) because their parent(s)/guardian(s) aren't present either mentally or physically. It is recorded that annually, 3.6 million cases of child abuse, neglect or abandonment are reported in America, and one of these victims dies every six hours...

Autobahn Soccer Spring Break Camp - Marine Park Sports Facilities
This soccer camp offers soccer games, skills demonstrations, and small-sided competition in a safe and nurturing environment. Whether your child is a beginner or advanced player, they will enhance their playing skills while getting a better understanding of the game participating in shooting, passing, and dribbling skills. Camps are directed by LA GALAXY/Autobahn coach Raul Palomares. Please bring soccer/running shoes, lunch, water, snack and sunscreen. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION (for Santa Monica Residents only) runs February 3 (6 am) through February 9. Non-resident registration opens February 10. REFUNDS - Refunds will be issued with medical documentation or if requested at least 5 calendar days prior to the first meeting. Refunds will be prorated.
