Amazing Experience!
I sent my two kids (9 and 13) to Alton Jones for the first time last summer, they absolutely loved it. My 9 year old did Earth Camp, he loved tree-climbing and kayaking the most! My 13 year old did Teen X Adventure and also loved climbing (she did rock climbing!) and the water park.
I was concerned about the cabins, since most camps have a busy basic set up, but these were great, I wish I had cabins like this when I was a kid!

Come enjoy a week of theatrical experiences including: playwriting, costume design, the actors process, and even performance! Students will work collaboratively to create a short play which will be performed at the end of the week. They will use both imagination and research to inform their artistic choices in everything from design work to acting. Additionally, students will explore improvisational theatre in both long and short forms as a means to stimulating the playwriting process and deepening their acting skills. Students with and without theatre backgrounds are invited to come explore, learn, and play! Rachel Wright is a passionate theatre educator who seeks to help her students grow their understanding and compassion for the world, life, and humanity through the magnificent practice of theatre. She has a BS in Theatre Arts Education from Appalachian State University. After college she moved to New York to pursue a career in theatre. She was accepted by Circle in the Square Theatre Conservatory Program where she concentrated on her craft. Upon graduating she began performing in countless off and off-off broadway productions. TRIPLE A (1 WEEK) This may be the best week youve ever had and is certainly the most popular high school camp EVER! This week fills fast (usually by mid-January) so REGISTER EARLY! This week is designed for high school aged campers: we start later and go longer. The morning has lots of options for early risers and the nights always end around campfires or stars. Sometimes you need to step out of the hectic high school schedule and be reminded. Reminded, that you are surrounded by friends, and a world full of wonder that is greatly loved - by a great God! TRIPLE A & REMIX (2 WEEKS) New!! Experience Triple A and then much, much more. This is a full two-week camp. After Triple A is over, you and your friends will stay on Saturday to begin your second week of adventures.
