During the first hour of soccer camp, children will focus on the basic skills of soccer such as dribbling, passing, shooting and goal tending , as well as agility and foot-eye coordination. Goal tending will only be taught to those children who volunteer for this position. During the second hour, children will be able to eat a healthy snack and then participate in a series of cooperative games that will enhance their capabilities of being a good teammate and showing good sportsmanship. The third hour of soccer camp will be spent discussing the various rules of soccer such as hand ball, pushing and tripping, and playing modified games of soccer. As the skills of each child advance over the course of the week, the third hour will consist of more realistic game-like situations. Equipment will be provided. New T his Year! Friday Field Tri ps! Walworth/Noyes Family Reunion 2016 - Marion, MT
Walworth Family Reunion Notice! Date: August 12, 13, 14, 2016 Arrive: 6:00 p.m. on 12th Depart: 4:00 p.m. on Sunday the 14th Camp Fees: My contract says $550.00 per day for 50 people. $10.00 per person per day over 50 people. Children 7 and under are free. This may change a bit but not much if it does. Food: We have traditionally hosted and pd. for the Friday night meal as we aren’t traveling. Saturday 3 meals, and Sunday 2 meals will be provided for the actual cost of the food, and divided by the total number of people coming. Children 7 and under are free. All of you who have come to the Lion’s camp in the past are familiar with the Nazi who was running it. I am pleased to announce that she is no longer there. The night will include camp activities,fall themed crafts, games, pizza and applesauce for dinner and a movie. (if your child has dietary restrictions, please send something to eat with them.) Beginning June 5, 2015, Elite Stride will be holding a 6-week strength and conditioning training camp and also skilled position training camp. Age group 6-12. The ending date for this event is July 17. Our goal is to help your children get the most out of their summer vacation and provide them with an outlet to stay active as well as reinforce a sense of leadership and discipline. Not only will we get your kids in shape to perform their best, but we will motivate them to excel in their education and at home. Global Inventors - Middle School
Have your child join us on an adventure to transform the world as we know it! Students will learn about one of the most innovative technologies of our time - 3D Printing - and how to use Computer Aided Design (CAD) software to create and print (and take home) a series of awesome designs! But why not use these skills for social good? Every lesson, students will exchange video messages with their sponsored partner student who lives in a developing country - together, they will come to identify and learn about a global issue, and then collaboratively design, print and test an invention to help solve that issue!
