LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Advanced Setters Camp - Rice University Tudor Fieldhouse
This camp is designed for setters that have experience and are looking to take their game to a higher level. Campers will work on the specifics of becoming a more advanced and consistent setter and will run drills designed to set them apart from their fellow competitors. Setters will get a lot of reps to help refine their skills they already have, and learn techniques necessary to set at a high level. Setters will work on jump setting, consistency, deceptive setting, attacking the second ball, and advanced transition drills. Come learn drills designed by Coach Volpe, who has developed All Conference and All American caliber setters. 713-348-4795

From weekly meetings, amazing volunteers, Mr. Happy Band, JV Dares, small groups, Florida Breakaway, JV Camp, Winter Weekend, DCLA, Colorado Challenge, pig scrambles and a good game of seek and destroy, there hasn’t been a dull moment. This holiday season we are inviting our Campus Life Alumni to Come Home For Christmas. On Thursday December 17th we invite you to join us from 7pm-9pm for a Campus Life Alumni open house. This is a great opportunity to see how the building has changed, share Campus Life memories, and hear how Campus Life is still giving life to so many kid’s stories. Extra Pointers Football Camp 1 (Grades 6-12) - WWP North Athletic Camp
Extra Pointers Kicking, Punting & Specialists Football Camp (Grades 6 - 12) The goal of this camp is to make athletes into solid, competent performers. Camp will expose kickers, punters, holders, and snappers to all aspects of their respective positions: mechanics, technique, game-situation, mental preparedness, and physical training. Campers receive an Extra pointers t-shirt, a printed technique guide by position, and video evaluation. For students interested in attending both Extra pointers camps, June 21-23 & Aug. 2-4 they will receive $50 off the cost of the two camps but must register for the "combo" camp to receive discount. Registering ineligible children will result in removal from program and no refund. No residency restrictions. Summer is the best time of year for fishing, but you need the knowledge of fish habits to help narrow down the best fishing areas by boat and from shore. Open to both experienced and new anglers. Learn the basics of a variety of styles of fishing including rod and reel trolling, bottom fishing, fly fishing, clamming and lobster fishing. Students will also learn about tying knots, baiting hooks, cleaning gear, and practicing fishing safety. Become more aware of local fisheries and fishing impacts. We practice catch and release only. Students should bring their own fishing rods and tackle ready for use. Some NESS rods are available and bait will be provided, please call to inquire. 860-535-9362
