Get Outside Olympia is hosting a week long Winter Wonderland Camp for your child or family member aged 6-12 years old, Monday Dec 19th - Dec 23rd, with hour options from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm. Work Weekend - Holcombe, WI
Always work to do to get the camp ready for the campers. Two roofs will have steel installed on them, cleaning of the chapel and some of the cabins, yard work. We will also be switching the shop and the game room so lots of hands will be needed there. At least 9 holes of miniaturegolf will be moved to the area around the garage (soon to be game room). Food will be provided. Let us know if you will be staying overnight so some cabins will be cleaned and ready. For those staying over Saturday night there will be a chapel service on Sunday morning. Lots of hands make light work so join us for a weekend of working, fishing, fellowshipping and enjoying God’s great outdoors.
CBA Winter Youth Camp - Goose Creek, SC
The Charleston Baseball Academy Winter Youth Camp will be held Saturday, December 3 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Charleston Baseball Academy at Dennis Park. ages 8u-14U This camp will be instructed by the CBA Staff which includes former college coach Jason Murray, Stan Kowalski, Sean Leyland, Donavan Campbell, Scott Sandman along with special guest James Reeves, LHP with the New York Yankees Organization. Other coaches will also be present. The Winter Youth Camp will give the players a chance to learn from the top coaches and players in the game of baseball today. Our focus is on the fundamentals and how to prepare and learn to practice correctly to become a better player. Parents and youth coaches are welcome to attend for FREE! The Theme this year is: LIFE IS MESSY! Registration for this COST FREE week of teen camp begins at 4:30 on Tuesday, July 19th. The activities are age appropriate and developed by experts in children?s physical education. KidSport is staffed by certified teachers as well as physical education and education majors focused on providing a first-rate experience for your kids! Campers engage in activities that revolve around weekly themes in this full-day program. Arts and crafts, sports and games are part of the fun. In addition to their regularly scheduled morning of Old Time Favorites, campers participate in Sports Shorts Clinics, Book Club, Story Theater, Wacky Wednesday Mystery Guests, Fun Friday Activities and Barbecues. Campers in first and second grade also experience off-campus excitement with our weekly field trips. Instructional swim time at a local pool and visits to the beach are included each week. No camp July 4. LUNCH: Parker Summers campers must bring their own peanut-free bag lunches and drinks Monday–Thursday. Refrigerated facilities are not provided. Make NO bones about it; this camp is for the aspiring "Young Physician". If your child enjoys checking out the cool gadgets and models in the Pediatricians office, sign them up! Campers learn that their bodies are miles of blood vessels, hundreds of muscles, many thousands of hairs, a furnace, a filter, AND a fancy computer! They perform hands-on experiments as they learn about brains, taste buds, blood, muscles and bones, check heart rates and listen to their lungs with their very own stethoscope. Campers will extract DNA and learn about genetics, test for germs, build spinal column, ear drum and lung models. For those teens age 14-17 who would like to pursue the visual arts in more depth, we are offering a 2-week workshop that will be lead by local artists who work in a variety of mediums – painting, drawing, sculpting and journaling. Our combo camps gives the two sport athlete the ability to improve their offensive and defensive game in both basketball and baseball. Fine tune your baseball skills during the other half of the day, with our experienced Academy instructors. Please bring a sack lunch. Players will be grouped by age and ability level.
