I think in this day and age it's so important for girls to have the opportunity to bond with other girls without distraction. Yes, I'm talking about boys and texting! Arimaw Productions: Cooking Camp @SMCC - San Marcos Community Center
Campers will learn how to make several delicious and fun dishes. Meals are prepared and our restaurant opens at the end of the week for family and friends. This camp features delectable competitions with plenty of challenges. Specialty Camp Cancellation Policy A full refund of fees, less a $20 cancellation fee, will be granted if the request is made by the Thursday prior to the start of the camp week. If the request is made after the Thursday prior to the start of the camp week but before the first day, a full refund, less a $50 cancellation fee, will be granted. A prorated refund of fees, less a $20 cancellation fee, will be granted to students who attend the first class if the request is made before the second camp day. Students who transfer from one camp to another will be charged a $20 transfer fee. If a student transfers to a class taught by the same instructor as the original camp, no transfer fee will be applied. String Chamber Music Camp - MacPhail Center for Music - Mpls
Have you been taking lessons or playing in your school orchestra? Come to our String Chamber Camp! Gain confidence and independence as you play in small groups with no more than two students playing each part. Improve your ensembles skills and play more expressively with the help of MacPhail string faculty and teaching interns. Camp will conclude with a final performance for family and friends. Current MacPhail students do not need to audition. We will consult your instructor for your playing level. All other students can contact MacPhail Student Services to schedule an audition (612) 321-0100. Auditions will be held on Saturday, May 21 from 4:00-6:00. This week of riding is for intermediate skilled riders who have participated in our spring program, the beginner/intermediate camp, or with permission. Campers will strengthen their riding skills as we explore some of the great trails Santa Fe area has to offer. We will ride to some great locations to cool off and have some classic Mountain Kids fun! BIKE AND HELMET REQUIRED! 505-699-6230
Swimming 3 - Brigham Young University
Come join coach John Brooks and his staff at the BYU Swimming Camp. Our camp offers four days of training and feedback. You will define your own specific needs as a competitive swimmer, determine personal training guidelines to meet these needs and then develop individual goals to increase your performance potential throughout the year. To help determine these guidelines, you will receive interval training evaluations and coach critiques specific to your needs. Throughout the week you will increase your performance potential through the use of drills, workout sets, time trials, competitions and video sessions. In class, you will discover the theory behind powerful, winning strokes. You will study detailed sequential movements of competitive strokes, learn fundamental competitive techniques, view contemporary training films and receive valuable feedback from the analysis of personal videotapes. In the pool you will undergo extensive drills, workout sets and time trials. You will review your personal videotaping in class to give you insight into your training strengths and weaknesses, helping you increase your competitive edge.
