This cheerleading camp is the best place to break into the sport of cheerleading. During this week with themed spirit days, participants are provided instruction on stunting, tumbling, motions, dance, jumps, flexibility and strength while learning fun games. A performance will be done at the end of the last day of camp. Cheer Camp 101 is being held from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. The Bolles One Week Swim Camp is a technique oriented camp that incorporates the Bolles training method and philosophy. At the One Week Camp swimmers will be challenged physically while learning to improve both their technical and mental approaches to swimming. Campers will arrive on Sunday and depart on Friday. History Comes Alive with Classical Theater - Wizard of Oz - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
This is a truly unique course especially designed for the home-schooled that incorporates history, literature, and performance. This classic novel/play will be interpreted and performed as students discuss the playwright and the time in which the author lived. History comes alive as students also create living portraits of imaginary and real characters during that period of history. The Wizard of Oz is a beloved classic. A cyclone carries Dorothy and her dog, Toto, to the magical land of Oz, where they encounter all the famous characters from the pen of L. Frank Baum... Dorothy, the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Woodsman, the rubber-legged Scarecrow, Glinda the Good Witch, Oz, Munchkins, Winged Monkeys, The Witch of the North, and the evil Witch of the West, who is determined to destroy Dorothy and steal the secret of her magical slippers.
