Beginning Songwriting - Old Trail School
Campers will interact and explore their creative ideas, as Dawn Sommerfield from DeMarcos School Of Music will teach basic songwriting. Campers will analyze popular music and use those songwriting formulas to compose lyrics and music in a fun group setting. Campers that play an instrument are encouraged to bring their instrument, however no previous musical experience is required. All who want to be creative are welcome. Diving Camp Session 4 - Aquatic Center
We will be offering diving class to ages 6 to 18 years of age. The only requirement is that you are able to swim 25-yards of the pool and tread water for 1 minute in water over their heads. Basic diving skills and safety will be taught from the side of the pool and on two 1 - meter boards. Each child will progress at their own rate, beginning with essential techniques, while working on strength, flexibility and mechanics. More advanced students, when ready, will work on dives in all five categories: forward, back, reverse, inward and twist.
