Teen Sewing Boot Camp - Edmonds, WA
Is your teen bored already? Sign him/her up for our week long beginning sewing boot camp running Monday through Friday, July 19 through 22 from 10 am to 2 pm daily. They will learn basic hand sewing techniques by hand making their own pin cushion and then graduate to sewing a pillowcase, pajama pants a skirt and other cool stuff., including getting to participate in a community project. Cheer Tumbling Camp - Fargo, ND
TNT Kid’s Fitness and Gymnastics invites you to participate in our Cheer and Dance Tumbling Camp on Saturday, March 5, 2016. We will be teaching the basics through advanced tumbling. Every athlete gets the opportunity for 1 on 1 coaching and spotting. Running skills and standing skills will be taught in our state of the art gym equipped with trampolines, spring floors, mats, and a foam pit. This is a great camp to get that new tumbling pass or work on something new with a spotter! Bring your whole team and learn some new group tumbling to put in your routines. We will have spotters for athletes as young as 5 years old to collegiate. Collegiate athletes must provide proof of NCAA insurance coverage. There will be healthy concessions, bows, and T-shirts available for purchase. We will be hosting two sessions on Saturday, March 5th: 12:00pm -4:00pm: $40 per athlete 4:00pm- 8:00pm: $40 per athlete You can attend both sessions or choose just one. Each session includes groups divided by skill level and coached by a professional gymnastics tumbling coach. Muggsy Bogues Fundamental Basketball Camp: Week 1 - Crews Recreation Center
Local basketball legend Muggsy Bogues returns to Crews this summer with a pair of basketball camps for any children between the ages of 6-13. Muggsy and his staff of experienced counselors will teach campers a variety of different skills through games, tournaments and other activities. They will not only teach them the fundamentals of the game, but allow them to learn in a fun and positive environment! These week-long camps will last from 9:00am until 4:00pm. Lunch is provided. This is the first camp ever offered by Club SciKidz! Newly revised and more exciting than ever, campers learn the science behind Hollywoods special effects. Activities will demonstrate concepts related to light, sound, perception, illusion, and model building. One of the great features of this camp is that all campers will create (and take home!) a movie using techniques in Claymation and Stop-Motion Animation. Lessons include plot development, story boarding, set building, filming, and sound effects. Campers will also learn various special effects make-up techniques working with the same materials used by professional make-up artists. Equestrian Adventure - Winding Creek Stables
This awesome day camp runs from 9 am until 4 pm. This session is best suited for riders who are proficient (at minimum) at the walk and posting trot. We will work on building upon riding basics, jumping, and horse care. Campers will be presenting a drill team performance at the end of camp, and we will even go on a trail ride a in DuPont Forest on Friday, August 5th! This camp is open to ages 10-16. Riders must take at least one lesson at Winding Creek to be evaluated for camp due to the overnight trip and trail ride components.
