FCYD Camp is proof positive that being diagnosed with diabetes means you have to live a sheltered life. We tried to tell that to our daughter all the time but she never really embraced the idea until she found herself surrounded by kids in her same situation. Kid's Camp Paint "Santa is Coming to Town" - Boulder, CO
Kid’s Camp at Posh is a wonderful and creative activity for the kids while they are off school for break! 10am-1pm…Ages 4 and up! $24.00 for 3 hours includes a painting class with step by step instruction through the painting of the day, games, face painting, and more! Pizza lunch available for $6.00+tax additional or bring them lunch from home! Each child will leave with a piece of artwork that is uniquely theirs! No experience, set-up, or clean up necessary! Each class is independent from the others so come to one or come to them all!
Fall Retreat: Seeing the Face of Christ in the Vulnerable - Dahlonega,
Sign up for the Campus Catholic Fall Retreat: Seeing the Face of Christ in the Vulnerable! Come out and spend a weekend in the mountains full of fellowship, fun and of course JESUS!! In this group please post your name, t-shirt size, and if you are able to provide transportation, and if so how many people you can drive. The retreat will be held at Camp Hidden Lake in Dahlonega, GA. Plan on meeting at Sacred Heart at 3:15 so we can get everyone situated in cars, but we plan on leaving at 3:30 from Sacred Heart in order to arrive at Hidden Lake around 6:30. Dinner will be provided Friday night, and all meals up until Sunday breakfast will be provided. The cost of the retreat is $20 for Georgia College students and $40 for non-Georgia College students, but if you are unable to pay just talk to Deacon and we will find a way for you to be able to go. You can give your money to anyone on core! Here is the address for Hidden Lake 830 Hidden Lake Dr. Dahlonega, GA 30533 This weekend is going to be awsome, so you won't want to miss out! So long as humans have existed on this planet, microbes have coexisted with us. Theyve lived in our bodies and thrived in the environment, posing a silent and constant threat. Theyve caused fevers and panic, helped with digestion and immunity. In this introductory course in human microbial disease, students will be introduced to the impact that various microbes have had in our lives. Students will learn the principles and methods of disease investigation: investigating patterns of illness in populations, identifying infectious microbes by visual assessment, mode of infection, and symptoms.
