Advocacy Training for Pennsylvania Youth Recovery Campaign - Philadelp
The Pennsylvania Youth Recovery Campaign and The Bridgeway School would like to formally announce that legislation is officially being sponsored in both the House of Representative (Rep. John Taylor –[R] Philadelphia) and the Senate (Sen. Pat Browne -[R] Pennsylvania) to promote recovery high schools in Pennsylvania. When enacted, this bill will create an alternate class of school designated Recovery High School. These schools will be suited to address the educational and recovery support needs of high school age/eligible youth dealing with substance use disorders in Pennsylvania. These schools will ensure that students receive the tools necessary to retain long term recovery, achieve academic greatness, and promote family inclusion, support, and overall wellness through education and recovery. We need your help to raise awareness for, and champion this cause on behalf of all Pennsylvania Youth. Please also join us for an Advocacy Training event on February 25th and 7pm at The Bridgeway School. 06th 2016 Camp, Buckaroo DAY Camp (4 Day) - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 4 (Four) Day Buckaroo Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. The Wednesday Night Overnight stay is offered only as an option, and has an additional charge. Campers are not required to select this option. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts, Horse Health and Welfare and Swimming Pool fun at the end of each day. Plus, making friends or renewing previous relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest.
