Please join us at Bootheel Youth Camp on September 26 from 9:00 AM-2:30 PM (lunch will be provided) for BYC’s second annual youth rally. We develop curriculum allowing students to experience how science works in the real world -- presenting programs in a nurturing, encouraging environment where students build self-esteem while learning. Club Scientific lessons help engage students in observation, measurement, identification of properties, and experimentation involving life, earth, and physical science concepts. Outdoor Painting Adventure - Main Campus
Enjoy learning how to paint outside, En Plein Air, with Harding Middle School Art teacher Amanda Penecale. We will learn how to prepare our materials, take field notes, and paint on location. The camp includes a nice field sketchbook. Campers will create studies with colored pencils in their sketchbooks and then make finished paintings using opaque watercolors. We will remain on Hardings campus and we will study the trees, the stream, and the architecture. 6159487005.0

Quadcopter Aerial Robotics - British International School of Charlotte
Campers will explore aerial robotics technology with fun and engaging educational scenarios and challenges. This camp offers aviation flight skills and interactive robotics training, and encourages camper interest in the career fields of Science, Math, and Engineering. Campers will build prototypes with the new technology and run test scenarios for safety, search, and rescue. Multiple teams of four will apply technology and planning to build a quad rotor designed for a specific first responder mission. Missions include: delivering pharmaceuticals to people in a disaster area, maneuvering the copter close to a (mock) hazardous waste container, and searching for a lost hiker. Campers will also perate and take home their own hand-size quadcopter at the end of the week! Price includes a $100 lab fee. 7047743016.0
