SharpeSkills Fitness Summer Camp - Clover Park Open Space
SharpeSkills Fitness Camp is designed for youth of all athletic levels who are looking for a challenge. The program pushes kids past their usual limitations and helps them reach their highest fitness goals. The camp focuses on long distance running, parachute sprinting, hand and eye coordination techniques, agility, and resistance training using the TRX body-weight exercise straps along with the RIP trainer exercise resistance pole, and mixed martial arts training. Typing Club - Valle Verde Elementary
Room: B-7 Instructor: Sabine Kroeber Students learn typing skills using an online keyboarding program. Emphasis will be on teaching desirable keyboarding techniques, mastery of the keyboard and development of speed and accuracy. We will also practice how to apply keyboarding skills in real life situations: Typing and formatting in Word, creating word art in Wordle, and putting together a simple PowerPoint presentation. We will tour the keyboard and learn about lesser known keys like the tilde and carat on a keyboard treasure hunt! Returning students can continue to build their speed, while new students can lay the foundation for great typing success. Jr. High 1 (Girl Registration) - Pioneer Bible Camp
Jr. High 1 is still a combined camp. Registration of male and female campers is separate for processing purposes. We offer two Jr. High camps. Both of these weeks are filled with new activities as well as other favorites, including White War, horseback riding (hour and a half trail ride), basketball and sand volleyball. Allow the Lord to challenge you in your relationship with Him as you study the Bible with your counselor and camp speaker. Please note that paintball is not offered for this age group. 801-546-6672
