Get Started on Summer Reading 5 - The Prairie School
Have fun reading a required summer reading book in a group setting. With the use of a variety of reading strategies, the course covers the reading of Number the Stars Students are asked to purchase the novel prior to the first class. All students should read the first two chapters of the book they are assigned before June 20th. Additional reading at home will be required. Session 1 Sprouts - Hampshire College Farm Center
The Sprouts group is a group of eight our young campers (4.5-5 year olds). Sprouts will have turned 4 by January 1, 2016. Each day on the farm will bring new adventures in the garden, tending the animals, crafting, and cooking. 04 Summer Fun Camp 9 Ages 5-12 - High School
Camp will meet from 7:00-5:30pm. Activities will include: arts and crafts, passive games,educational games, group activity games, sports, strength and conditioning, rhythms, and free play. There will be swimming from 4:00-5:00pm in the Middle School pool. Activities will be geared for children 5-12 years of age. Bring a snack, swim suit and towel. Enter the Middle School through door #36. In order to register for this activity, you must first click to open the participation waiver and then place your initials in the left box to confirm that you read and agree. You must also read the Parent/ Athlete concussion agreement in the text and check the box underneath to provide confirmation that you have read, understand and agree to the new concussion information. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Parent/Guardian must initial for anyone under 18 years old. Permission is granted for my son/daughter to participate in the above activity as conducted by agreement with the South Milwaukee Recreation Department. Oak View Farm Camp (Second Session) - Historic Oak View County Park
Summer camp at Historic Oak View returns offering a full day camp for the first time! Join us for this years farm camp to catch a glimpse in the life of a farmer and much more. Each day will explore a different theme of farm life. The campers will learn through games and hands-on activities about the farms animals (including our goats!), the history of the farm, the families who called Oak View home, the crops grown here, and finally, what the kids did for fun on the farm.
