This Lutheran Bible Camp is one of the oldest summer camps in America. It was founded in 1926, and is my daughter’s favorite camp. She has fun meeting other youth while strengthening her faith. She also enjoys swimming, arts and crafts and singing around the camp fire. Camp Fowler Festif - Orefield, PA
Now in its 5th year, Festif is a family fun event that combines cycling, trail running, entertainment, food, and fun. Rides range from family friendly distances to a quad burning 44 miles. All riders will have cue sheets and routes well marked. There will be rider support on each route and both the 20 and 44 mile route each have a well stocked rest stop. NEW for 2016: 5k and 10k Fox and Hound runs! Chase our "fox" around Camp Fowler during these trail runs. The 5k is both family and walker friendly and prizes will be given to anyone who is able to follow the foxes clues and catch them before the finish. Cycling or running isn't for you? The Living Earth Day Camps are a one-of-a-kind nature camp experience. We have been voted a favorite summer day camp for over 7 years!! We will spend the week exploring the mountains, streams and other wild places. Campers work together in small groups learning about the natural world, plants, mammals, tracking, birds, wilderness survival, awareness and so much more. Plankton Pioneers enjoy being introduced to marine science through hands on activities, interactions with live animals, plus themed crafts, games and songs.
