Pre-K Summer Fun Camp - Session I (Ages 4-5) Full morning of interaction for social, cognitive, and physical growth in a fun, nurturing environment. Arts and crafts, games, local field trips, special events, and presenters! Registration is for full two-week session. All children must be potty trained to attend camp. Children who will be 4yrs old by 10/1/16 are also permitted to attend camp. Minecraft Adventures - Universalist Unitarian Church - Arlington
Welcome to the world of Mining and Crafting. At this exciting camp your child will craft and create on a lap top computer. Throughout the week, your child will be given exciting building challenges in BOTH the creative and survival mode of MINECRAFT ® BEWARE OF CREEPERS!! Renaissance has hired some mining experts to help your child learn secrets and short cuts that can be taken home for use on their own MINECRAFT® games. A secure server will be provided for their use during this camp. We will focus on several advanced crafting skills such as red-stone wiring, advanced survival tactics and advanced gardening. Campers will participate in a horserace and become paleoentoligists digging for bones to construct a dinosaur. There are new challenges everyday and the excitement builds with each new challenge. Your child will learn to build advanced structures using uncommon building techniques focusing on color schemes roof designs and interior builds. 12 campers so SPACE IS LIMITED! *This camp will also change from week to week so that kids may sign up for more than one camp. 703-244-0585

This mini camp is an awesome combination of science and engineering. Makers in this hands-on class will learn about fundamental science concepts and then use what they learn to create amazing projects to take home. Well learn about water and make balloon powered boats, study the night sky and make constellation "keychains", set off sparklers we make from scratch and more! Calling all tinkerers! Rookie Camp is a four-day, three-night mini-session designed for first time campers as an introduction to the camp and preparation for a full length Camp Jack Hazard session. Campers will try all of the activities available to Resident Campers, including: games, campfires, camp programs and an on-site overnight where theyll have the opportunity to sleep under the stars without leaving CJH grounds.
