Spanish Language Precita Week 3: Wild, Wild, West - California Natural History - Precita Park
Wild, Wild, West: California Natural History Are you ready to follow in the path of Lewis and Clark and Sacajawea? Explorers and Adventurers wanted to help discover new plants, new animals, new ways of living in the Wild West frontier. From grizzly bears to towering redwood trees and wild rivers to snow capped mountains we will adventure far and wide describing all that we see. We will learn how to press a plant, draw a map, build a fort, noose a lizard and catch a fish. Look up look around is that a California Condor gliding through the clouds? Boys Lacrosse week 7 - Knott Hall
Coach Ben Rubeor will run the 2016 Loyola Lacrosse Camp. Ben was named the USA Today National Coach of the Year and the Maryland Private School Coach of the Year after winning the 2015 MIAA ‘A Conference Championship. Ben was a three-time All-American attackman, two-time Academic All-American, and two-time team captain at the University of Virginia, where he won an undefeated National Championship in 2006. He was also named the ACCs Top Male Scholar Athlete in 2008. He played 8 seasons of professional lacrosse, served as a team captain of the Chesapeake Bayhawks, and won 3 Major League Lacrosse titles. He will lead a staff of Loyola coaches and players to teach the fundamentals of lacrosse in a fun and competitive environment. The camp is designed for all levels of players. Campers will learn individual skills, including stickwork, footwork, dodging, shooting, and individual defense. Campers will practice these drills in an up-tempo environment. In addition, campers will learn team concepts and compete in a number of game-like situations, and they will have the opportunity to earn a number of prizes. The goal of the camp is to inspire players to continue to improve and to teach the concepts that have led Loyola to consistent success. 443 841 3328

Extreme Robotics - Middle School
In Extreme Robotics, students have extreme fun while exploring the world of technology. Using all sorts of household items, including electrical motors and gadgets, they get to build their own robots. Using applied science and engineering, students learn to solve problems while exploring various scientific principles, from biomechanics to hydraulics to magnetism and chemistry. Finally, the student made robots are put to the ultimate test in fun competitions, with prizes being awarded for the most innovative and best functioning inventions, robots, and designs. Have your child join us for a super duper fun week, and youll be amazed by what your budding little scientist has learned along the way, just by using a little imagination and some basic scientific knowledge. F-4 Developing Parametric Equations Using Mathematical Modeling - Aurora
Designing project to develop student understanding of parametric equations and two modeling situations in which they are applied. No previous knowledge of parametrics is required by the students.
