The Farm Hands program is a great camp experience for kids that love to be outside working in the garden or learning how to care for our farm animals. Activities can vary from day to day because we work with the rhythm of the working farm. The sibling week was created a number of years back in response to feedback from parents that wanted their multi-aged children to attend together. You dont need to have a sibling or even a friend to register for sibling week, just be excited for making new friends of all ages. One of the most popular aspects of sibling week is that children are offered more choices of what activities to choose each day so they can create their own camp experience. A Great Intro to Tulane
It's no secret we're a Tulane family. Both my husband and I graduated from the college and would love our daughter to be a legacy. The Ripples Day Camp was a perfect way to introduce her to the campus and all it has to offer. She became an excellent swimmer and is already talking about training to be a counselor next year. More than toys, LEGO building blocks are a doorway to mathematics, science and technology. They also are a blast to play with! Students in this camp will explore creative options with blocks, then work with FIRST LEGO League Jr. simple machine kits to explore key scientific models like levers, pulleys and gears. By the end, they will be on their way to FLL Jr. participation in the upcoming competition season, or just have enjoyed great hands‐on opportunities to learn some basic engineering. Teachers: Ansley Young and Pam Peters lead young artists in creating a fully functional four legged creature marionette from wood, paint, rope and more. After reading and researching myths and fairy tales, kids use their findings to construct a magical being and develop a story to tell. The story will be told in a 10-15 minute performance at the end of the week. We close online registration 24 hours prior to camp start.
