Mt. Tam Adventure Camps: Super Summer Fun Camp - Martin Luther King Park
Entering 2nd - 5th Grade: Traditional summer camp with several activities throughout the day. Join our enthusiastic staff of trained recreation leaders for a fun mix of activities, crafts, sports and fun surprises. Camp offers a safe, nurturing environment in which children are free to explore new things, meet new friends, and create summer memories that last a lifetime. The program is designed to cater to the community with a traditional fun camp offering for grade school aged children. Staff are trained to listen and treat kids with respect by getting involved and giving kids the attention they need. Kids bring sack lunches Monday-Thursday. Healthy Snacks and Water are provided throughout the day. Friday is a camp provided Pizza Lunch day - please disclose/discuss any food allergies or dietary needs of your camper with camp staff. Camp - Junior Theater S2 M-F 9:30 am (Ages 7-12) - Beck Center for the Arts
This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.The Junior Theater Camp is designed for all students, whether or not they have prior performance experience. Campers work with theater professionals learning techniques in acting, singing, and dancing as they rehearse for their original show. This fun performance is a culmination of their work and features acting scenes and musical numbers. Actors present the show for family and friends on the last day of camp, August 12 at 11:30 am and 6:30 pm on the stage in Beck Centers Music & Dance Building Recital Hall. Information concerning performances and tickets is distributed the first day of camp. Students are required to participate in both performances. 3 weeks; Mon - Fri; 12:30 - 2:30 pm; Tuition: $270 (Does not include admission to performances) Tickets to the performances are $5 each. Performance seating is limited. There is a 30-minute informational orientation for parents and students on the first day of camp. Lunch-time supervision provided for students enrolling in both the Visual Arts and Junior Theater Camps. PV HOCKEY spring skills will start up on Sunday April 10th and will skate for 8 weeks, every Sunday accept Memorial day weekend. This program is designed for squirts thru bantam age and junior high. All individual skill development and a primary focus on stickhandling, passing and edges. A huge part of the program will be focused on edges and fast feet.
