Receive professional tennis instruction in a fun group environment. Well cover the basics from proper footwork and grips to stroke production and movement. Basic skills including volley, forehand, backhand and serving will be taught through games and drills. For beginner through intermediate players. Supplies: Campers should bring their own tennis racket and water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. Teen North African Music, Dance and Culture Camp - Nampa, ID
Travel to Northern Africa and the Middle-East, without the motion sickness or expensive flight. Learn about the music, dance and culture of the area of the world where Africa meets the Orient. It's a whole new world of music and dance! If you only have a Western Music Education, you are missing out on over three fourths of the world's music! Students will attend from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday, August 4th and 6th. Besides learning dance moves, students will make percussive instruments and learn to play several N. African Rhythms. Students will learn about the music and culture of this area of the world through music, dance, video, food and art. On Saturday, August 8th, students will have the opportunity to join 1 World Dance in a performance!

Chess Academy during camp week #3: June 27 - July 1 - Germantown Friends School
National-championship coach Ross Colby will be offering two weeks of intensive chess instruction at Germantown Friends School. Ross has either played on or coached teams that have won national championships in Arizona, North Carolina, & Pennsylvania! Players at this years camp will participate in intensive strategy sessions, tournament games, daily award ceremonies, simultaneous exhibitions, and a speed tournament. At the end of the five-day camp, participants will enjoy a pizza fest and final awards ceremony. Camp Seaside - Week #8 - RSU5 Recreation and Community Education
Camp Seaside is a summer day camp based at the Mast Landing School on Bow Street in Freeport. Our day camp is designed to spark your childs imagination, grow new friendships and create a memorable summertime experience for all. Some of our time will be spent, weather permitting, at Winslow Park on beautiful Casco Bay. Each week will also consist of a highlight trip and a trip to a local state park or beach. Daily activities will include arts, crafts, sports and games. Campers are divided into age appropriate groups for most activities and trips, but participate in whole camp events as well. We are once again teaming up with Freeport Community Services and the USDA Federally Funded Summer Lunch Program.
