Winter Break Kid's Horse Camp! - Georgetown, TX
Sign up now for our Winter Break Kid's Horseback Riding Camp! For children ages 3 -18, no riding experience necessary. Kids learn about safety first, equipment, horses and riding in our soft-sand enclosed and covered round pen. What better way to finish off the winter break than by being outside with friends and siblings, learning a new skill, having fun, and gaining in self-confidence? All classes taught by Eric Clarke, natural horseman clinician with 35+ years experience as a professional trainer of horses and their people, assisted by several of his horsemanship apprentices. Class size is limited. All equipment and horses provided, except for boots (with a bit of a heel please; no sneakers) and helmets (no bicycle helmets). Camp is half-days, 9 AM - 12 noon. PREP Track & Field/Cross Country Camp - Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
Prep runners will enhance their running and speed development at the Brebeuf Jesuits Track and St. Vincent Health Field, and also on one of the few, true Cross Country courses in the state. The running workshop is designed to help ALL athletes in ALL sports improve their speed, agility, and coordination by doing plyometric drills, speed chutes, bungee, and drills designed to increase propulsion, responses, and rate of stride. Prep runners will conclude their week with a track meet, where all families are invited and encouraged to attend. Head Cross Country/Track Coach Karl Knerr 74, has 25 years of experience in Cross Country and 30 years in Track & Field. He led the Braves to 3 consecutive State Finals in cross country. He just finished his 5th year as head track & field coach, and was named back-to-back IATCCC Coach of the Year as well as NFHS Boys Track & Field Coach of Year in 2014. A Cappella Ensemble - Wilmington Montessori School

Week #1 Lavender Mountain This is the start of a summer filled with Friends, Fun, and Exciting field trips. This first week is a hike up Lavender Mountain. We will swing on the rope swing, climb the tower, and pretend to be logs and roll down the grassy hill. There is nothing like a picnic on the top of Lavender Mountain. New games will be played inside and out at the Anthony Center. The Federal Food Pogram will start today and run till July 22nd. Afternoon snack will be provided. We will be swimming once a week, so you need to have a swim bag ready to go with your swimsuit, sun screen, towel and (flip flops for the time we are at the pool).
