Week 1 AM - Ocean Action - Wuskenau Beach
The ocean is full of action, adventure, and discovery. Take a new journey into the marine environment each day by foot, kayak, or SUP. Learn about bait balls, action packed salt ponds and benthic communities by pulling up animal traps and collecting bottom samples. Thrash on waves using boogie boards, go on a kayak excursion, and help choose our snorkel sites. Pick a new travel destination with your class, and decide the route to take us to our destination. Includes: kayaking, boogie boarding, snorkel adventures, playing in the salt pond and the ocean. 860-535-9362

Big Stars Tennis Camp - Ages 7 - 15 For new and experienced players. Develop and improve ground strokes, volleys, serves, overheads and more. Well cover rules, basic strategy, and etiquette. Expect lots of fun with fast-moving drills, awesome games and match play. Bring plenty of water. Loaner racquets available. Friday is a rain make-up day, if necessary. Animals come in all shapes and sizes. Enter the strange, but true realm of symbiotic relationships, bizarre deep sea creatures, arthropods, colonial organisms, and animals living in other extreme habitats. Research and go into the field to look for some the strangest creatures on our planet. Use microscopes, look at preserved and live specimens, and dissect a strange fish. Includes: microscopes, snorkel adventures, playing in the salt pond and the ocean. 860-535-9362
