Makemie Woods is a wonderful place for kids to learn new things, meet new friends and become a part of a "family." The program has had consistent leadership for over 20 years- unsual for progams like this. Quality staff provide great role models. Both of my boys attended and had a wonderful time. This enrichment experience includes indoor/outdoor play, songs, stories, art activities, a daily snack, and plenty of fun with friends. Instructor: Shofner Make mine in a mug please! In this fun cooking class, we will be making a variety of "meals"; breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner in a mug! You will apply reading strategies to read the recipes, math and measuring skills to create the "meal" and then enjoy the fruit of your hard work! This is a developmentally appropriate introduction to theatre arts especially designed for children ages 6-9. The camp will conclude with a special demonstration performance in which the children will show the skills they have developed during the week through some of their favorite stories.
