Canyon Creek is just about an hour’s drive outside LA and I’m really glad we took our kids. They learned a lot about several different sports and seemed to be really excited when we picked them up. It is near a large lake and is a beautiful area. The camp was huge and had many sporting facilities. All of the equipment seemed to be new and the camp counselors were great with the kids. St. John Neuman Canton - St. John Neumann Catholic Church
This a basketball camp for kids from grades 4 - 8 emphasizing FAITH, FUN AND FUNDAMENTALS. Campers will be organized into groups and teams according to age level and ability in order to provide a positive learning experience. Campers will learn that the quest to develop as a basketball player "mirrors" the quest to develop as a Christian. Each day will begin and end with prayer. The themes for each day applying to both basketball and the Christian Life will be commitment, practice, growth and teamwork. Space is limited to 48 campers and will be filled on a first come first serve basis. EACH CAMPER MUST BRING A PACKED LUNCH EVERY DAY. CSTC - Goalkeeper - Anderson/Trienens Turf Field
Join Northwestern Goalkeeper Trainer and former Pro, Ovidio Felcaro, for the goalkeeper-specific curriculum at the CSTC Camp. Players will be exposed to modern goalkeeper training techniques and coaching which will include (but is not limited to) footwork, basic handling, advanced handling, diving, cross management, distribution, and decision making. All goalkeepers will participate in a "college exposure" session at which ALL staff college coaches will be in attendance. Space in the Ovidio Felcaro Goalkeeper School is limited to ensure a personal experience for each camper. Create visual magic using an animation technique that is over 100 years old and continues to be used today in recent movies like Paranorman (2012) and Boxtrolls (2014). Animate objects, clay, and people by stringing together still images to create an illusion of movement using the Stop Motion Studio app. Students will need an email address in order to create a Dropbox account for Stop Motion Studio. iPads will be provided.
