The staff at Sandy Hill Camp is great. We noticed that they had a vast ethnicity so many children were able to find counselors that looked and talked very similar to them. We went to this camp because of its great reputation. There are so many things to do for all the kids, and they’ll make so many friends. You’ll end up having to take them back summer after summer. Week 5 AM - Dynamic Earth - Wuskenau Beach
The earth is constantly changing and moving. Most of the time we dont even notice unless there is a big change! Discover how coastlines and islands were formed, experiment with how water moves through sediment, and explore the science of hurricanes and how they affect the coastline. Go kayaking, snorkeling, and boogie boarding to become one with our dynamic Earth! Includes: boogie boarding, kayaking, snorkel adventures, playing in the salt pond and the ocean. 860-535-9362
Lacrosse: Langtry Spring Break Beginners Camp - Parker Fieldhouse
This camp offers a first look at lacrosse for players who want to learn more or who have only basic knowledge of the sport. If focuses on basic skills like scooping, cradling, catching, throwing and shooting. Since there will be limited player-to-player contact, full gear is recommended but not required. This camp is designed to provide instruction in all aspects of the game. Participants will receive instruction in hitting, defense, pitching/catching, baserunning, and strategy. Campers will also participate in live and controlled scrimmaging. Camp will go from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM each day. Ages 6-14. 512-720-2527

Have you ever wondered how big you are compared to a blue whale, or what similarities your body has to a squid, or even how far you can jump compared to a kangaroo. Learn more about our own astonishing bodies, compare our bodies to some amazing animals, and perform a squid dissection. 860-535-9362

Students will learn to use a compliment of hand tools during a course that emphasizes safe tool use, practical problem-solving & creative development. The course is taught by a Master Carpenter with over 25 years of experience teaching children.Projects increase in dif- ficulty as experience grows, beginning with toy boats and working up to full-sized furniture and professional skateboards. **All first time carpentry students MUST attend the 1st day of class to participate in the course.** **Tuition includes a $25 Materials Fee** 510-839-5777
