Teen MMA Summer Camp at GCBJJ - Grove City, OH
GCBJJ will be hosting an MMA camp for teens (age 13-17). This camp will cover all aspects of MMA including: Boxing, Muay Thai kickboxing, Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Conditioning. No experience necessary. Cost is $125 per teen. Only equipment they will need is a mouthpiece. We will provide all other equipment. Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a couple extra changes of clothes. The participants can pack a lunch (we have a fridge and a microwave, or there are three pizza places, Arby's and Subway that are all within walking distance.

$5 gets you admission and one vote at this special ALL AGES event, where 4 regional bands (including CIRRUS MINOR) will compete to win a slot on the SUMMER CAMP MUSIC FESTIVAL in Chilicothe, Illinois on Memorial Day Weekend; this would have us playing alongside Mudcrutch (with Tom Petty), Umphrey's McGee, Fishbone, STS9, moe., George Clinton and P-Funk.... and so many more! We need your vote! Also, we need people to help spread the word- we haven't played since October, plus, Joe Corbin (our drummer) will NOT be playing this show with us- he and his wife are expecting a new baby within a couple days of the show- so you will see a Cirrus Minor show unlike any you have seen before... gonna get creative! The summer camp will be held in two one-week sessions designed to engage inner-city youth (ages of 8-18) by teaching, mentoring and coaching students to not only become solid athletes, but to help them develop into successful, productive human beings.

Holistic Hoops Playground Legends Basketball Camp - Marine Park Sports Facilities
Lace up your shoes and get ready to learn the game of basketball from a completely new perspective. Coach David Snedeker has played in the Final Four and professionally. He has created the much-heralded Holistic Hoops training system. Recent players that have learned this system have gone on to excel in junior high and high school varsity teams. Campers will be divided by age and skill level. Please bring a snack, lunch, and water, and wear sunscreen, athletic shoes, and comfortable clothing. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION (for Santa Monica Residents only) runs March 2 (6 am) through March 8.
