Campers entering grade 5 are grouped in units with girls of their own age/grade and are supervised by trained staff members and program aides. Campers participate in a wide variety of activities including earning badges, hiking, outdoor cooking, learning outdoor skills, crafts, games, singing and more. Girls entering grade 5 in Fall 2016 will spend the night at camp with their unit on Wednesday, July 27., and will participate in Archery (additional waiver form required). If you wish for you camper to opt out of the overnight or Archery, please check the appropriate box in the registration form. 650-308-8438

Come to our "YouthPass to the Future" Campaign Kick-Off! OPAL's multi-racial youth program, Youth Environmental Justice Alliance, is organizing a community event to raise awareness about a campaign to sustain and expand the YouthPass program in Portland. Our goal for the campaign is to show the city, TriMet, our schools, and our community that affordable public transportation is important for youth to lead healthy lives, be able to thrive, and be successful. The youth-led event will officially launch our campaign and engage with community members and decision makers, especially in East Portland neighborhoods. There will be educational booths about transit justice, powerful youth testimonies, and cool performances! YouthPass to the Future Campaign: We want all high school students in Portland to be able to go to school and access opportunities that prepare them for success. Transit is an educational right! Final Destination Youth Camp 2016 - Placerville, CA
Do you already know where to go this summer? Well we invite you to join us at ( Sacramento SDA youth) a Final Destination Christian Camp! Spend 4 days with friends, participate in fun contests, evenings by the fire, grow spiritually, and of course maybe meet your other half! This camping will be on a separate territory, away from civilization (just forest and bears around). We will be living in cabins (up to 10 people in one). Rogue Robots: LEGO Robotics Camp - San Angelo, TX
Robots aren’t just inventions in a galaxy far, far away— they exist here on Earth, at your local library! Join us this Winter Break for a Star Wars-themed robotics camp. Each day we’ll watch a clip from the movies, and build a LEGO robot inspired by the film. The library will be hosting two four-day camps—attending all four days is not mandatory, but each class will build upon the previous classes. No prior experience in LEGO robotics necessary, but seating is limited so RSVP is required. This is a Teen Republic program, open only to patrons in grades 6-12. Free of charge. We will meet from 3-4:30pm in the Community Room.

Teen Robotics Camp - Day 3 - Dublin, GA
For rising 7th-12th graders. This is a 4-day robotics workshop where we will be learning how to build and program LEGO Mindstorms. SEATS ARE LIMITED. PLEASE REGISTER IN ADVANCE AT THE REFERENCE DESK. Teens who register are expected to attend all four days of the workshop.

Buffalo Canyon Campout - Jr. Teen Camp - Lewistown, MT
Day hikes in the canyon, a trip to Big Timber Waterslides, and paintball are included. Jr. Teen Camp July 18-23 Buffalo Canyon Campout Boys & Girls entering grades 7-9 Cost: Pre-registered by July 11 $155 After July 11 $170 Check-in time: 10am-12pm, Monday, July 18 Registrations available at www.lewtana.com Camp out in Buffalo Canyon for 3 days and 2 nights. Bible classes will take place in the canyon. Additional items to bring: warm clothing, good hiking shoes, a flashlight, and a small backpack. Camp ends with a program on Saturday at 1:30. Parents are encouraged to attend the program, as there are awards given out and a slide show of pictures from the week.

"Tons-O-Fun" Extended Care, Grades 1-10, Week 1 - Recreation
A great option for parents who work, TONS-O-FUN Camp offers a fun and safe Extended Day program from 7:30-8:30AM and 3:30-5:00PM for an additional fee. Extended Day includes supervised and partially structured activities, including arts and crafts, games and sports.One fee gives participants access to both morning and afternoon extended care. Parents can flex use of the program daily based on their needs. Come early, stay late or do both. It?s up to you! Participants must be registered in advance by the week to participate. Please note that there will be a minimum number of campers required for each session to run extended camp hours. It is highly recommended that parents pack an extra snack and drink for children who participate in the Extended Day program. All arrival and dismissal policies apply to the Extended Care program. Parents must sign in and sign out participants with photo ID and must be listed on the pick-up authorization section of the registration form. PLEASE NOTE: You can only register your child for extended day if they are registered for camp. If your child is on a waiting list for camp please do not register them...

Week 10 PM - Kayak Snorkeling - NESS
Paddle and explore Little Narragansett Bay during the best months of the year. Kayak to estuaries, coves, islands, and other places where power boats are not able to go. Snorkel the warm waters of the harbor and the bay, while learning about local ecosystems and the species that inhabit them. Challenge your snorkeling skills by learning to free dive, using NESS fins. No previous kayaking experience is necessary, but an interest in the ocean, snorkeling, and kayaking is a must for this adventure week. Includes: snorkeling, kayaking & free diving 860-535-9362
