General Camp Information: Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Registration Fee: $220 Includes: Five full days of camp, a field trip, activities, materials, daily snacks, and a camp T-shirt. Campers are required to bring a bag lunch each day. Where and When: Our Summer Camp will be held at our Orlando facility in our Education Center room. Campers will be able to enter through the Education Center door which is located to the left of the Business Office and Clinic entrances. Camp staff will be greeting campers between 8:30 and 9:00a.m. Please be prompt! On field trip days, we may be leaving as little as 15 minutes after camp begins. Campers must be signed in and out by a parent or guardian each day. Camp Activities: The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlandos Summer Camp is designed for kids who love animals. Campers will experience hands on activities with shelter pets, gain knowledge from educational speakers, and enjoy animal-related arts & crafts, enrichment projects, games, and much more. Each weeks session also includes a field trip, providing campers with an additional fun and educational experience outside of the shelter environment. Get ready for Trinity Youth's 18th annual Middle School Winter Camp! This weekend will be filled with good food, great friends, and whole lot of fun. Our goals for this camp are: 1. To build strong student-leader relationships 2.To build strong peer relationships 3.To meet students right where they are—helping them take that next step in knowing Jesus better. Oh, and there is also possibility of having a lot of fun, too! Students and leaders will be leaving from Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12th (dinner not provided). From the church, we will drive 45 minutes south to Meadowood Springs. Everyone will be staying the next two nights at the retreat center there. We will be back at Trinity by 12:00 p.m. on Sunday the 14th. The cost of camp is $105. This cost covers travel, lodging, food and fun. Robot Builder - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Campers will learn about the Science of Robotics with historical information, discoveries and advances in robot technology. Newtons Laws will be emphasized all week and each camper will receive three robot kits to work on. Campers will be able to take home their remote controlled robots! This year, Terrific Scientific will be featuring our 3-in-1 All Terrain Robot kit and our 14-1 Solar Robot. In addition to these projects, campers will learn how to solder with our space alarm-soldering project. Learning the skills of wiring, gear building, and soldering will allow campers to go on to more sophisticated robot creations. Coach Ball & Coach Frates, Calvertons Lacrosse Coaches will share their years of experience with all. Open to beginners, intermediate and experienced players, this camp features three divisions: Youth, Middle School and High School ages. When placing campers, age and physical development will be considered so every player can have a positive experience. Campers will learn individual skills, such as shooting, passing, dodging, and defense, as well as team concepts such as fast breaks, defensive schemes and offensive schemes. The Calverton School has been the breeding group of more than 40 college lacrosse players over the last few years. Ultimate Tennis / Game Theory Camp II (Grades 1-8) In the morning camp will feature games, drills, and team-oriented activities designed to develop skills, strengthen consistency and build player confidence.
