The Chute Basketball Shooting Camps are designed to challenge the advanced player to move their offensive game to the next level, while at the same time, teaching all the proper fundamentals of shooting to the younger athlete. Something that has been toying with the New Sanctuary for a long time finally gets down to brass tacks. Big changes occur in the world, new horrors appear, bad stuff happens to good people, and the smart folks will bring their own in-game light sources. This is a full weekend long immersive LARP experience. The price is $60 for players who will need to bring sleeping bags, toiletries, extra socks, costumes, weapons, spell packets, and extra badass to withstand a weekend of imagination and adventure. Meals in the tavern are an additional cost, but hearty and well worth it. NPCs pay $15, and don't need to bring costuming. Their admission fee covers their meals as well. NPCs need to bring dark clothes they can move in, sturdy shoes, extra socks, sleeping bag, and toiletries. We ask that people try to get to the site by 8 so that they can have time to get into costume and go through registration before lay on at 10. We will be able to arrive on site as early as 3 PM. Full Day Wk3 - NonRes - Epping Forest Clubhouse
The full day option lasts from 9 am to 4 pm and is available for the Rockfish and Blue crabs age groups only (ages 6-12). Activities throughout the day are structured around three main themes including: OUTDOORS (e.g., nature hikes, sailing, water sports, swim skills, kayaking, survival skills), ARTS (e.g., crafts, indian art, tie dyes) and GAMES (e.g., tennis, basketball, dodgeball, beach challenges). The activities will be led by our energized college-age counselors or Program Directors. In the morning, we will offer options for your child, enabling them to do what they like most and empowering them to have the most fun with their day. From 12 to 1:30, we will have lunch and a series of activities that children can choose from to relax and take a breather during what is typically the hottest time of the day. Options include Legos, indoor board games, or free swim time. LUNCH IS PROVIDED every day and will include a fruit or vegetable with every meal. If your child has dietary restrictions, you will need to provide his/her lunch. Using a free-to-download, open-source program Blender, students will work hands on to work on different 3D models each day.
