2016 Teen Winter Camp - Oxford, AL
We'll be traveling from ODBC to Trinity Baptist Church in Oxford, Alabama, for our retreat, and we will spend a day snow tubing on Friday at Stone Mountain, Georgia! Come for great preaching and a fun time connecting with other teens and the Lord! Space is limited on the bus, so register early! Cost is only $75 which covers travel, lodging, and snow tubing (bring additional money for one meal each day while we are traveling). Parents/guardians must sign a hold harmless agreement and provide emergency contact/medical information.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9 God's people will never be perfect this side of heaven (Romans 3:9-12). Nevertheless, we are called to be holy because God is holy (Leviticus 11:44)... which sounds impossible. But the word "holiness" in Hebrew literally means "set-apartness." God isn't demanding impossible perfection. He calls every believer to live as uniquely separate (Leviticus 20:26), devoted to Him (1 Kings 8:53) and completely different from the world (1 Peter 1:13-16). It should be obvious to anyone who sees us that we are set apart (John 15:5-8). Jesus came to break our sin cycle and restore humanity's connection with our Creator God (2 Corinthians 5:19-21). Placing saving faith in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ's death on the cross justifies us before God (Romans 5:6-11). That incredible forgiveness and grace compels the true disciple toward righteousness, walking in God's ways not because we earn His grace, but because our love and thanksgiving manifests itself as obedience (1 John 5:1-5). College ID Academy - Memorial Stadium
Our College ID sessions offer top quality instruction to take your game to the next level. We will work on the technical side of your game at game speed and under game pressure through exercises and competitions that will help improve first touch, receiving and playing the ball with different surfaces of your foot, passing and shooting accuracy, service over distance, defensive positioning, heading, finishing, and MORE! We will also build on your tactical awareness of the game and your understanding of runs off the ball, defensive organization and communication, along with how to deal with numbers up vs. numbers down situations. Hang with the Bears on and off the field and learn what it takes to be a Division I college soccer player. Residential campers reside in Residence Halls in the center of the UC Berkeley Campus. All campers dine in the state-of-the-art Dining Center. Why do bugs have antennas anyway? The park is filled with spectacular six legged creatures. Campers will explore the world of insects by inspecting, crafting, and seeing a different bug every day!
