Ages 10-15: Capital Ultimate Frisbee Camp is a fun alternative for kids who want an active camp but are tired of the same old sports. Ultimate Frisbee is a fast growing, fast paced game that combines skills used in sports like soccer, football and basketball. campers totally newto Frisbee will learn the fundamentals: catching, throwing backhand, forehand, etc. More experienced players will sharpen and extend those skills, plus learn defensive skills, field positioning and more. Every Camper gets a disc, a microfiber athletic shirt, and a CUC hat. We provide a daily snack but campers bring their own lunch. The camp site has changes as of Feb. 11, 2016; camp will be held at Tilden Woods Local Park. GO COMMISSION by The Rev Ministries The GoComm Youth Mission Camp is designed for students between the ages of 13 and 17 who want to change their world by fulfilling The Great Commission. Students will be immersed in an environment designed to initiate transformation and empower them. They will spend their time doing area mission projects, participating in worship services in the morning and again at night, and have private group time each night to meet, teach, and share what God is doing among them. The Wallis Student Arts Reporters - The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Art
The Wallis is pleased to offer an opportunity for youth ages 12-18 to become a Student Arts Reporter. This program is designed for students interested in the arts and journalism or critical writing. The Wallis is proud to partner with the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle and other local media partners to help mentor students to view productions with a critical eye and write reviews for selected Wallis performances throughout the season.
