Campers let your curiosity run wild with hands-on science activities, crafts and guided exploration of our beautiful outdoor venue at Vasona County Lake Park in Los Gatos! Join us to dig into the fundamentals of botany by planting seeds and investigating the basics of plant life. What about the world below ground? Take a closer look at worms and learn about the importance of bees as pollinators and learn how these incredible creatures communicate. Also actively experiment with solids and liquids to learn more about states of matter. In addition to doing daily science activities we will have opportunities to explore different park habitats, play games, and engage in fun craft projects. 408-827-5507

This will be a 4 week event. Workouts will last for 1 hour and they will be full body workouts. Everyone will need their own yoga mat, jump rope, 2 3-8 lbs weights, water, and towel. All fitness levels are welcome you will never be judged only motivated to push yourself. Bring a positive attitude and a smile. The Mad Scientist - $150 (July 11 – July 15) Young mad scientists in training will explore a different science every day! Well experiment as chemists and explore reactions and explosions, tinker with electricity and magnetism as electrical engineers, and examine living things as biologists! Of course, every mad scientist needs to look the part, so well make our very own mad scientist lab coats! 484-664-1002

What does the shape of a fish have in common with a sports car, the honey combs of a bee with a chair, and a butterfly with clothing? The answer is these living organisms are influencing the way people are designing new and more efficient technologies. Make your own investigations by looking at a variety of natural objects, using microscopes, designing your own new product, and promoting your prototype to the NESS Biomimicry Judges. Calling all kids who love pets! This camp combines many different mediums of art as campers learn canvas painting by completing a portrait of their pet. They also learn the art of mosaics while creating a picture frame for a lovable animal. Campers also earn about pottery painting and glazing techniques as they personalize a bowl for their pet.
