My daughter loves the variety of activities at this camp
Camp Chipinaw was founded in 1926, and it is located in the breathtaking Catskill Mountains. Although it was originally an all-boys camp, by 1938 a girl’s camp was added. Camp Chipinaw is one of the oldest camps in the U.S., serving children and teens ages 7 through 16. Camp is open to all skill levels of players. Campers are grouped based on age, ability, and experience. Each camper will receive instruction on the fundamentals of all strokes and will enhance their skills through repetition, ball-feeding drills, live-ball situation and competitive play. USPTA coaches Wilston Poon and Stanford Poon direct all sessions. Please bring a racket, new can of balls, snack, sunscreen, water, and hat/sunglasses. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION (for Santa Monica Residents only) runs February 3 (6 am) through February 9. Healthy post event refreshments and race goodies too! Each child earns 1 point towards series awards for participating in the clinic! This includes making quick sand, a volcano, glow water and more. Many of the crafts will be things that can be taken home and played with.
