Using several different art processes, your young artist will create larger than life flowers, hotels for fairies, garden stepping stones, a butterfly bath and more. We will experiment with papier mâché, three dimensional sculpture and mixed media painting. The childrens imaginations will grow wild as they find their flower power. Camp Seaside - Week #8 - RSU5 Recreation and Community Education
Camp Seaside is a summer day camp based at the Mast Landing School on Bow Street in Freeport. Our day camp is designed to spark your childs imagination, grow new friendships and create a memorable summertime experience for all. Some of our time will be spent, weather permitting, at Winslow Park on beautiful Casco Bay. Each week will also consist of a highlight trip and a trip to a local state park or beach. Daily activities will include arts, crafts, sports and games. Campers are divided into age appropriate groups for most activities and trips, but participate in whole camp events as well. Call our office (865-6171) or visit our website [] for a tentative schedule of this summers highlight trips. Camp fee includes lunch! We are once again teaming up with Freeport Community Services and the USDA Federally Funded Summer Lunch Program. Each lunch contains the federally required percentage of protein, fruit, vegetables & grain and all lunches include milk. Weekly menus will be posted on our website by late June. Advanced Setting Camp - University of Texas at Austin
The Advanced Setting Camp is designed for athletes entering grades 7-12 and is ideal for athletes who want to train strictly at the setter position. This position specific camp focuses on all aspects of setting and is led by Head Coach Jerritt Elliott. The skills taught at this camp include hand position, footwork, jump setting, defense, and transition. Campers will also learn offensive systems and setting strategies. The Georgia Bulldog Tennis Camp will provide instruction for every level of play. For the beginner, basic fundamentals and stroke production will be emphasized. For the intermediate players, refinement of the fundamentals--footwork, grips, strokes and strategy will be stressed. The advanced players will be trained at the same intensity level that we train our Bulldog college players. Along with match play and conditioning, the emphasis is concentrated in challenging the campers regardless of their level of play. Camps are open to any/all entrants (limited only by number and age, grade level, and/or gender).
