Youth Councils 2016! - Camp Lake, WI
What is Youth Councils? Youth Councils is a three day retreat specifically for Jr. High, High School and college age youth to be challenged and strengthened in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Who can attend Youth Councils? We have two tracks to set up so that we can tailor everything to the specific needs of your youth. To attend the Jr. High Track, youth must be in 6th, 7th or 8th grade by April 8, 2016. In order to be in the High School Track, youth need to be in 9th grade-age 25 by that same date. When is Youth Councils 2016? Youth Councils 2016 is being held from April 8-10, at Wonderland Camp & Conference Center. How much does Youth Councils cost? Only $25. Only $25?! Yes, you read that right. $25 is all you need for your meals, snacks, lodging, main sessions, concerts, banquets, jokes, good times, pillow fights, and more. It's a steal when you think about it. THERE WILL BE A BASS TOURNAMENT to benefit the Frostproof Church of God Youth Department on the Kissimmee Chain September 24 out of Camp Mack. Entry fee $40 per boat, plus $10 for biggest bass, with $25 going toward payout and $15 to the church. Third boat partner ages 15 and under free. First and second place payouts guaranteed. Wild Edible Plants Series Session 1 - Jaycees Pavilion
Learn to identify, harvest and prepare wild edible foods. We will go out into the blufflands of southeastern Minnesota and forage for some of the first wild foods after the snow lifts. We will also cover safety and ethical concerns that accompany foraging wild foods. The Artists Studio is geared toward those students who are serious about visual arts.
