Would your children benefit from an early introduction to the upcoming middle school curriculum? Then the Amp Camp is just what they need. The Amp Camp, led by SCDS Middle School Learning Specialist, Mr. Benjamin Ford, will help set your child up for success. During Amp Camp 6th, 7th, and 8th grade campers will learn how to implement specialized study strategies to help them be more confident and better prepared for middle school. Each student will gain insight on how to be more organized and thoughtful about their study habits while also getting a jump start on the best way to engage challenging concepts and content. Amp Camp is a great way to help students prepare for their re-entry to school. Amp Camp is open to SCDS and non-SCDS students. AAC Summer Theatre Camp 2016 in partnership - Jasper, AL
This summer program will introduce students ranging from rising third graders to high school seniors to all aspects of the creative and technical sides of musical theatre production. From the audition to the final curtain, students will not only star in the production, they will also learn what it takes to put on a show. The program will include instruction in acting, voice, dance, set, costume, sound and lighting design and more. Spring Clinic - Princeton Stadium
Princeton Field Hockey will be offering a Spring Clinic and Play Day on Sunday, April 3rd from 1:30-4:30pm. The clinic is open to both individuals and teams and will take the format of a technical skill circuit followed by, small-sided games and a 7v7 round robin tournament. Princeton University players and coaches will be leading the skill circuit and small-sided games along with coaching the 7v7 teams. Places are limited and will be filled on a first come first served basis. Please arrive at the field no later than 1:15pm for registration. SJC - Discovers 2D Animation - SJC Long Island
Computer animation 2D: Using open source and freely available software, campers will learn to create 2D environments, animate their drawings and add color and sound. These are similar to the techniques used in creating professional animated films and video games.
