Tumble and Cheer - Fine Arts Academy
Tumble/ Cheer will teach young athletes essential skills to lead the crowd and support the home team. Our cheer camp will ensure that each camper will learn cheers, proper hand and body movements as well as jumping and tumbling techniques. There is no stunting, just a big focus on fun while each child learns important life skills such as teambuilding and leadership. Do you have what it takes to solve a crime? Can your track down our culprit? Who stole the Jolly Ranchers from Mr. Ryans desk? Dun-dun-daaaaa! Come join us for a fun and informative week of solving crime! Learn about fingerprints and how they are used to solve crimes. Build our own motion detectors and solve logic puzzles. Explore the art of wet felting by making a warm and stylish neck warmer from wool roving. Each student will make design and embellishment decisions enabling them to make their own unique piece of wearable art. Wet felting requires some physical exertion, but the effort is worth it. The HCA fine arts academy is geared toward those students who are serious about visual arts. Their day will include 2 sessions studio time with different teachers learning to work with acrylic, ceramics, watercolor, pastels and pencil drawing. The students will also work on a group activity each day and spend time outside. ALL ART SUPPLIES INCLUDED. Please bring a lunch, snack and water bottle each day.
