Would you like to learn how to draw realistic animals? If your subject is wild, or domesticated, we will learn anatomical sketching, of any animal. Students will learn the pastel techniques for creating realistic fur, and feathers. Well explore placing the animal in a realistic landscape, or in a portrait-style background. Teen Winter Art Camp: Positive Posters - Louisville, KY
With the New Year upon what better way to start it out than with a positive poster to hang in your home or community! Children can create their own quote for their poster or we will provide a variety for them to choose from. We will provide a variety of creative materials as well as a few inspiration pieces. Although we do teach technique we allow and encourage the voice of each individual child to shine through. In other words, no two paintings or sculptures will ever leave our studio looking the same. We value and honor the voice and creative spirt of each individual child and encourage them to find their own creative path. **Please remember to pack a healthy lunch and snack!
Surprise Valley Youth Camp Family Retreat - Beckley, WV
The retreat is for the entire family or, if everyone in the family can't come, those who can are welcome. There will be classes for all ages. We will have activities, speakers, singing, snack bar, campfires and plenty of food. Cost per person: $30 if preregistered $40 if you register at the door $15 for Saturday only Remember, even if mom and dad can't come, the kids still can (ages 7 and up). Weekly classes. SUPERFLEX! Games, stories, fun, and social learning. Small group! Class size is limited. CLASSES 1-3 (March 28, April 11, April 18) and 5-7 (May 2, 9, 16) WILL BE HELD AT THE OFFICE in Crabapple. CLASSES 4 (April 25) and 8 (May 23) will be held at the Art Barn...208 Roper Road Canton (just North of Milton). These classes are appropriate for children with ADHD, Autism (high functioning), Sensory Processing Disorder, Speech and Language Delay, Social Pragmatic Disorder or just those with social challenges and no diagnosis. Team based junior golf program that includes weekly team practice sessions and periodic team competitions home and away. Juniors aged 17 and under are encouraged to play. Teams will be made based on the following age and ability: Under 18, Under 16, and Under 14. Younger players will be encouraged to play with the older teams periodically. Each participant will receive a team shirt and hat. Cost: $300 – includes 10 practice sessions and 1 team season. ($15 per hour instruction and 6 team matches) $500 – includes 20 practice sessions and 2 team seasons. ($12.50 per hour instruction and 12 team matches) $600 – includes unlimited practice sessions and all 3 team seasons.
