Our theme for The Chapel Schools CARE BEAR this year will be Fairy Tales from Around the World. Young campers will acquire global awareness through literature. Children will enjoy learning about countries and their cultures while making creative arts and crafts projects. We will also have plenty of outdoor time for water play and games. Our In-House Field Trips always bring fun and fascinating visitors to our campus. We will once again have Dinosaurs Rock, Mad Science, Greenburgh Nature Center, and Animal Embassy along with magicians and storytellers to teach and entertain us. Week 1: Young Scientist/Photography and Fiber Arts - The Childrens Tree Montessori School
Young Scientists (3-6): Daily experiments and take-home project, exploring the human body and our senses and the universe will keep preschoolers busy. Photography & Fiber Arts (6-12): Participants will explore local nature areas with cameras and learn digital editing. Those interested in fiber arts will also learn to knit, crochet and weave. Participants will need to bring their own camera.
