LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Soft Ground Etching (3 classes) - Kala Printmaking Studio
An in-depth course exploring all aspects of soft ground etching and its combination with aquatint, chine colle, and drawing. Students will learn about line and tone etching, shape and texture transfer, and aquatint manipulation. They will create layered prints by the addition of a second plate to the one holding the key design. All levels welcome. Sundays, January 24, 31 & Feb 7 from 11am-5pm $20 Materials Fee payable to the teacher on the first day of class Instructor Bio: Theodora Varnay Jones received her BFA and MFA from The Academy of Fine Arts, Budapest, Hungary. Her prints have received numerous awards from museums, universities and other institutions throughout the US, Europe, Asia, and South America. You have the freedom to bring what you want to your camping area (Sterio, bbq grill, pong table) As far as smashing on some food goes - our friend Craig Jackson will be bringing back his tasty BBQ cart There will be a NEW security team on the premises. ANY unwanted physical contact will NOT be tolerated at all.
