Pure Sweat Basketball is pleased to announce The Complete Player Clinic led by Alan Stein and Jordan Delp. These unprecedented clinics will be held at Augustana College - Carver Center for Physical Education on Sunday, May 15th. Pure Sweat Skills Clinic give players the opportunity to work with certified Pure Sweat Skills Coach, Jordan Delp, as well as experience drills and techniques that Pure Sweat Founder, Drew Hanlen, uses with his college and NBA clients on a daily basis. The Pure Sweat Performance (formerly Cutting Edge Performance) led by Alan Stein, founder of Stronger Team, the Head Performance Coach for the internationally renowned DeMatha Catholic High School basketball program and lead Performance Coach for the Nike Basketball Academy, focuses on improving basketball athleticism. The clinic addresses warm-up, movement preparation, mobility, core strength, explosiveness, quickness, agility and reaction. 22nd Annual Teen World Bible Camp - Clinton, PA
Teen World Ministries will be holding its 22nd Annual Bible Camp the week of June 7-13, 2015 at Promise Camp & Retreat Center in Clinton, PA. We are excited that the long awaited new dining hall at Promise Camp has completed construction and will be ready for our use. Our camp theme for the week is "The Whole Armor of God" with Ephesians 6:11 & 6:13 being our theme verses. Camp Speaker for the week will be Toby Mattern, 2015 Graduate of Malone University in Youth Ministry. We will be memorizing and studying the Book of Ephesians (ESV 2011 Text) chapters 5 & 6 during the week. Teen World Bible Camp is open to all youth entering grades 5-12 in the 2015-2016 school year and 2015 high school graduates. Registration Fee for camp is $155 .There is a $10 per camper Family Discount for siblings attending camp as campers. What is Youth Councils? Youth Councils is a three day retreat specifically for Jr. High, High School and college age youth to be challenged and strengthened in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Who can attend Youth Councils? We have two tracks to set up so that we can tailor everything to the specific needs of your youth. To attend the Jr. High Track, youth must be in 6th, 7th or 8th grade by April 8, 2016. In order to be in the High School Track, youth need to be in 9th grade-age 25 by that same date. Early Reader Program - Valle Verde Elementary
Classroom: D-8 Instructor: Active Reading Center () This reading class is designed for first and second grade students who have difficulty learning to read in traditional environments. We utilize play activities that help emerging readers learn letter sounds, and blend those sounds into words. All teaching is done by trained teachers from the Active Reading Center. A brief evaluation of each students abilities will be provided at the end of the session. Students may be recommended for work with a reading teacher on a one-on-one basis.
