In this class taught by USA Waterski certified instructors, students can experience the basics of wakeboarding, water skiing, and kneeboarding on Boca Ciega Bay, adjacent to the Eckerd College campus. This is a short class that offers lots of encouragment to kids that have an interest in sewing. Each student needs to bring a sewing machine (we have a few extra machines but need to know in advance if your planning to borrow) and an adult that can help through the class (the adult can have little to no sewing experience). We will be doing a quick sew project. Only $15.00 (includes fabric kit for project and snacks).

What is Youth Councils? Youth Councils is a three day retreat specifically for Jr. High, High School and college age youth to be challenged and strengthened in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Who can attend Youth Councils? We have two tracks to set up so that we can tailor everything to the specific needs of your youth. To attend the Jr. High Track, youth must be in 6th, 7th or 8th grade by April 8, 2016. In order to be in the High School Track, youth need to be in 9th grade-age 25 by that same date. This GRACE camp is based on the theme of water. Each day the activities will be based on this theme. Our biggest field trip of the summer is to Wet n Wild waterpark. For increased safety, this will be a family trip. So plan on joining the fun:) We also swim at T.A.C. The kids love swimming alongside their counselors and friends in our own sections of the program and instructional pool. Truly a summer classic. 919-783-6618

The High School Band Camp is designed for musicians ranging from the most talented and proficient to the less experienced. It is open to entering grades 9, 10, 11, or 12. This session features four concert bands each conducted by an outstanding high school director. The program includes sectionals, master classes, elective study, supervised practice, and optional private lessons. Join us for a week of thriving and surviving at Forest Camp. Become the eyes and ears of the forest as you learn confidence through the skills of the scout. Discover how to blend into the landscape through the arts of camouflage, navigation without compass or map, and stealthy movement. Together with your fellow adventurers you will build fire from friction, craft and use natural tools, identify and harvest edible plants, cook over open fires, sleep in a rain-proof shelter you build yourself, and more! In addition, Forest Campers can swim, play capture the flag, pick wild raspberries, play music, tend the camp garden, or build wilderness shelters during free time. Forest camp inspires youths natural discovery, cooperation, responsibility, and independence. Campers spend their week in traditional Adirondack Shelters with up to eight other campers. Our girls and boys cabins are located on separate ends of campus.
