Matt Bonner Basketball Camp (9th-12th graders) - Christa McAuliffe School
Matt Bonner Basketball Camp helps teach campers the fundamentals of basketball. This camp allows your child the opportunity to spend a week learning from New Hampshires only NBA player, Matt Bonner. This camps highly skilled staff is comprised of the best local professional players, collegiate players, and high school coaches. Come spend a week enjoying the game of basketball in a constructive environment with us! Camp Info: -Each camper is responsible for bringing his/her OWN basketball every day to camp -Please write your name clearly on your basketball -Camp Time: Monday-Thursday 9:00AM-3:00PM, Friday 9:00AM-12:00PM - Friday will be held at Rundlett Middle School -Pizza, water, and Gatorade will be on sale during lunch -Friday, July 1 will be known as "SWAGGY FRIDAY." -On SWAGGY FRIDAY, campers will receive t-shirts, basketballs, autographs, photos, etc. and there will be a special awards ceremony. Grades 1-6 Whether your camper has played for a few seasons or is just starting out, this camp is the one to choose! Each day campers work on basic to advanced baseball skills and play a game, too! Participants learn in a safe, structured environment, have fun and gain confidence playing baseball. Daily hitting, fielding, pitching and outfield stations are featured as well as daily trivia contests and prizes for everyone! Campers receive a written evaluation on their skills. Campers should bring mitts, bats, snack, sunscreen and water bottles marked with their name. Coaches: GVP Sports staff. Monday-Friday -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Camp will meet in the rain, shelter available for severe weather. Tennis 3.5 hours per day Adventure 2.5 hours per day During the first part of the day, campers join our regular tennis camp and have lunch. Children will be divided by level and develop tennis strokes, rallying skills, and age appropriate competitive play. Campers learn teamwork, make friends and enjoy fun games like Angry Birds Tennis, Skyball, and Big Kahuna. All camps feature Higgins Bucks, Water Fun Day (no swimming) and the Higgins Bucks Store where children buy prizes on Fridays. In the afternoons we set out on an Adventure! Adventures include: Flyers Day: Build a kite or glider and fly them at Blackies Builders Day: Make a Native American mat or basket, or a model airplane Hiking Days: Along Blackies Shore and up to "Hippie Tree" Board Game Mania ACTIVITY OTHER CATEGORY 3.
