LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Camp Shalom LIT - Session IIB - JCC Campus
The Camp Shalom LIT Program (formerly counselor in training) has been redesigned to allow teens a multifaceted experience. The program contains three core components: leadership training, hands-on counselor skills guidance, and fun, social programming. Each two-week session will provide teens the opportunity to experience every facet of working at a summer camp from interacting directly with campers to shadowing activity specialists. Under the supervision of the LIT Assistant Director, LITs will meet as a group regularly to attend workshops specially planned for them. Each LIT will have the opportunity to become CPR and First Aid Certified. Upon successful completion of the LIT Program, participants will receive a minimum of 45 community service hours and are eligible for a higher rate of pay as Assistant Counselors at Camp Shalom. 512-735-8100

If you want even more of a personal look, then stitching and painting are possibilities. Were thinking sweaters, jackets, and jeans but you can add bags, shoes, or scarves.
