Experience an immersive two week animation workshop with artist Nathan Ratcliffe, a video game developer and creator and VAI alumni. This workshop will allow students to learn the complex, intensive, and rewarding process of creating a short animated film as a team. This is an amazing opportunity for teenage students to not only improve their concept of motion, but to learn technical and real-world skills. Campers will be introduced and taught the basic skills of passing, shooting, cutting, dribbling and defense. Instruction will be done with drills, relays, lead-up games and contests. We will use 8-foot and 10-foot baskets to allow campers to experience success. Campers will have fun and enjoy learning the basic fundamentals of basketball. Check-in will begin Monday, July 18, at Crisler Center at 8:30 am. Camp activities will begin right after check-in and camp will be dismissed at 4 pm each afternoon (full-day). Those campers that are staying for the half-day option will be dismissed at 12 pm. Camp will begin each morning at 9 am.
