Prepared to be challenged by the likes of Shakespeare, Mamet and other influential playwrights in our Advanced Drama Class. This class will delve into the techniques used by famous teachers such as Stanislavsky, Chekov and Boal, to truly hone their skills in bringing characters to life on the stage. Please contact Jay Goodlett to confirm that you have the required training to participate. The last class of the session will be a performance class. Parents/Guardians are invited to attend. 3D Printing and Modeling - Building A
In this camp from Youth Digital, campers learn key modeling concepts as they design their 3D model in preparation for real 3D printing. At the end of camp, kids will walk away with a completed 3D model that is ready for 3D printing! Theyll also be able to access the online version of the course after camp, including video tutorials, interactive quizzes, and new challenges. Campers will learn the basics of 3D modeling as they prepare to have their creations printed using groundbreaking 3D printing technology. During camp, kids master 3D modeling and design skills including how to sculpt, texture, arrange, and render their 3D creation in preparation for 3D printing. Pop Rock Star - Ohlook Performing Arts Center
Do you dream of being Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez or Katy Perry? Come learn the art of rock and pop. We will sing your favorite pop songs, and will even write some songs of our own. Students will be taught to play a few basic chords on guitar and piano. Our instructor Zoe Ann has her own band, toured on concert, and albums of her own. Camp Mark Seven offers a place where hearing children of Deaf parents could come together to learn about, and better understand the two worlds that they simultaneously live in, and where they could explore, identify, and strengthen their unique C/KODA identities and develop individually as leaders. All of this would occur, ideally, in a recreational camping environment that would foster a lot of interaction and activities for each child and youth. Program activities: Swimming and tubing. Paddle a canoe on the chosen rivers/lakes and camp out under the stars. Low ropes course. Diverse outdoor games. Arts & crafts. Hike different mountains. Evening Bonfires.
