In this camp from Youth Digital, kids learn real Java™ programming as they design and code their own Minecraft mods from start to finish. At the end of camp, kids will walk away with a unique Minecraft mod they can download and share with friends! Theyll also be able to access the online version of the course after camp, including video tutorials, interactive quizzes, and new challenges. Kids will learn the basics of one of the most popular coding languages in the world as they modify real Java code to build their own Minecraft mods including blocks, items, mobs, and more. During camp, kids will master introductory computer programming concepts including object-oriented programming, methods and parameters, instantiation of new objects, and more. The Recreation Department is once again offering one-week day camps that will be held at Lessenger Elementary (30150 Campbell). Campers are asked to wear sneakers/tennis shoes (no sandals, flip-flops or open toe shoes) each day and to bring their own sack lunch (including beverages) unless otherwise noted. Fast Feet Soccer Camp - Main Campus
Calling out to all soccer fans! Mr. Jones will be hosting a week long soccer camp! Join in for a fun-filled week of soccer! The camp will be designed around the different age groups enjoying the game. Children want to play, so we will have as much game-time as possible, but skills and rules must be learnt to develop. So, we will include micro sessions before and after every game we play, so that the students are getting small doses of really important knowledge to improve their game, making it manageable and retainable. One of the features of the camp would be to watch a short clip of a famous soccer legend at the start of every day. The days session would be based on some of the moves and plays the legend performed during the clip. This would strengthen the key training objectives for the day, and hopefully, encourage the students to mimic and possibly become supporters of these legends. 6159487005.0
