2 Weeks of Aikido Camp. Monday through Friday Camp Hours: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Early drop (starting from 7:30am) off & late pick up (up to 6pm) up also available. We start at the dojo in the morning with formal Aikido classes. Then we clean up, eat lunch, and weather permitting, change into beach wear and head to the beach for lots of Aikido-related games and races, like sumo wrestling and bokto watermelon-cutting. Lets make paintings on the moon where the sky is the limit in this week devoted to art in outer space! Planets, droids, space ships, constellations, astronauts, aliens and martians will be the inspiration for art of galactic proportions. Exploring clay, drawing, painting, 3D construction and more, participants will complete an assortment of individual and group projects in each weeks theme, culminating in a showcase at the end of each camp, followed by the unveiling of an installation at our 9th annual Fall Out of Summer Arts Festival in September. 401-490-9475
